Sunday 29th July

Woke up at 7am this morning as we wanna be an early bird for famous tim sum at Red Star Restaurant. Brought with us The Sunday Times and Newpaper to mimic eating tim sum the Cantonese way, taking their own sweet time. I love going to typical, old fashioned push cart styles to enjoy tim sums and knowing that Jef suggested Red Star at Chin Swee Road.

Enjoying breakfast, enjoying the food, enjoying every moment.

It's hard to see push carts style tim sum restaurants nowadays, isn't it great to have good food pushing around and right to your table?

The only problem is that in Singapore, we can't beat Kiasu hungry customers, they simply can't wait for the carts to reach their tables, they were chasing after the staff for food! Incorrigible...

Stamping our way for a fulfiling breakfast, indicates the number of dishes we ordered.

Luckily we were there early, after 9am the restaurant was packed with customers followed by long queues from the lift lobby right into the restaurant.

A bunch of hungry people.

After a heavy breakfast we adjourned to movie at Lido, Jeff love action pack, real martial art movies therefore we chose Flash Point by Hong Kong martial artist Donnie Yen and Louis Koo. If you like action, serious kongfu fighting and is a fan of Thai movie Ong Bak, then this is a movie that you will like. The movie plot is nothing fancy, it's a police and gang chase with Donnie Yen as detective, Louis Koo as a mole in a Vietnamese gang. We almost had the whole theatre by ourselves as it was a 12:20pm movie time. Usually I slept till noon and wakes up for lunch, and guess the rest of the Singaporean has the same habit too.

My baby was kicking me during certain part of the scene, maybe it was too loud. Ever since I am pregnant Jeff has become extra careful and sensitive to me. He also began to nag but in a subtle way, for example he said that I need to be gentle when getting in and out of bed, I need to buy more loose and comfortable clothings, afraid that I didn't eat well, making sure that I am not out of his sight, holding on to tightly, forbids me to talk on my mobile for too long, cannot walk too fast, cannot wear heels..........

Jeff: Baobei I realised I became very naggy hor? Why am I behaving like this? Hahahah
Me: -_-||| Don't nag too much ok, I tell BB that you bully me.
Jeff: Wah, scared scared....

Our late lunch, Japanese cuisine at Takashimaya.

Jeff's pork cutlet curry set.

Tonkatsu set.
A typical Sunday in Singapore, eat eat eat, shop shop shop. Still I enjoyed myself all because I have my dearest hubby by my side and my baby with me.
