Woman of leisure Sunday

Mission, shop for furniture, mattress, and baby pram. Preparing for the future, will be moving to a new place by end of this year. It will be very inconvenient for me by then, either ways I won't be given any moving task to do, by then I should be getting ready for delivery or doing my post- natal. There are lots of things to be done before the house is ready, need to find taps, basin, bath tub, bed, sofa, blar blar.... not to forget whole lots of baby products!

Walked over to Paragon for lunch before we carried on with those important mission, went to Shimbashi Soba restaurant at B1 for some soba bento.


Greedy, ordered the biggest bento set they offered! Couldn't finish everything there.... just love to see variety on my table.

Actually I already had a mattress in mind, last year I went over to Simmons at Great World City. Guess this is really a small world, I got to know a lady sales consultant in Simmons, she was able to recognize me as she has a niece that showed her our blogs before. Although she wasn't a blog reader herself, she could still address me by my 1st name. Surprise! Her name is Kierra, she is a very experience sales consultant in Simmons and she has all the product knowledge right at her finger tips. She patiently and clearly explained the difference between individual pocket springs and coils, she also knows her competitors very well. I learnt a lot from her through the very 1st introduction. Although I didn't purchase the mattress right away I knew I have already fallen in love with it.

While on the way to Simmons Gallery at Paragon, I was still wondering if I should go back to Great World to find Kierra. Jef said we should double confirm on the mattress we want check for further discount... then go back to Kierra. Guess what, didn't I say this is a small world? When we stepped into the gallery, immediately I heard someone calling my name : Noelle! I thought I met a friend there, but I couldn't really recgonise the person's face. It was Kierra, she still remembers me even when we only met once which was more than 6 months ago. Coincidentally she has been transferred to Paragon.

This is the latest Black series, super high end mattress in Simmons. Beautiful right? Comfortable too! Oh but the price is not comfortable... this US king mattress cost S$22,000/= Yes, 3 zeros! I could buy 3 of the mattress I committed, but I won't be short changed of it's comfort level, the one I bought is Beauty Rest Milan series, it feels like being hugged and wrapped around once I lay on it. Can't wait to sleep on my new bed... but first need to look for a bed frame to fit the new mattress.

Meet Kierra, friendly, professional, sincere. OH on top of all that, she has a great memory, she still remembers which mattress I had in mind, why I chose pillow top from plush top mattress. Went Marina South Pier for a drink at night, Jef wanted to show me the place he has to go due to the nature of his work. He frequents the Pier in the day, hopped onto one of the boat and sail to those Big cargo tankers dork in the middle of the sea. He knows those people in the pier quite well.

Pier beautifully lighted up with blue lights, it sure makes the pier looks attractive.

This is Santa Fe restaurant, a non moving ship. Santa Fe offers free flow drinks when you pay about $5.95. They serve mostly Mexican food, nachos, baffolo wings blar blar.
