River Boat, Santa Fe Restaurant

Cruising around in my little red riding Honda allows me to explore exciting new places around the island. That's why I love spending time driving, I am so glad to have the convenience of what the 4 wheelers can bring. Although now it is considered a luxury item for people like me to own a car as I am not bringing in additional income, I never regret having it. Thanks to Jef darling for incurring all my little red riding Honda's expenses. I felt apologetic but he told me he enjoys driving 2 cars now. Actually by paying my car installment and his own car installment, we can buy any continental cars in the market already.... sigh.

Like I mentioned earlier, I love to bring my love ones and friends to places I visited which is interesting and fun. When I started to drive, I already have a whole list of romantic dining places and interesting hideouts on hand. Though Singapore may be just a dot in the world map, she still has many unknown alluring places to be discovered. So don't confine yourself to shopping centres, movies all the time, get your adrenaline working and get adventurous.

In my earlier post Jef took me to Marina South Pier and we accidentally discovered there was a riverboat restaurant. Last Friday I dated Miko out to show her the place, it was Santa Fe restaurant and we weren't unfamiliar with it as it has one branch located at Far East Plaza where they serve free flow mountain drinks and ice lemon tea.

The river boat is berth 24/7 at the pier and it will not bring you to anywhere else as I doubt the engine is still able to perform. Nevertheless you will be able to experience some rocking and shaking on the deck.
A big welcome from Santa Fe, choose between 3 different decks, air-con or non air con decks.

Miko smiling from left to right, she was extremely excited about dining on a river boat. I love to see my friends being happy when they are with me.

I too was in the smiling mood that night. Felt a little dizzy in the beginning as I wasn't prepared when the boat started to rock from left to right. That clearly explain why they had used such heavy tables and chairs in their restaurants.

American size potion, huge heavy plate, yummy taste and a reasonable price tag. I ordered Ribeye steak medium rare and Miko's dish was crispy chicken.

We sat there enjoying our dinner, free flow diet coke, the sea breeze, some rocking till sun set. Later on got up and went round the boat to capture more photographs of our night.

I am sure you can tell how much fun we had. :)

Later on we adjourned to the pier at the 3rd level where Jef and I had our drinks the other time. It was also a viewing gallery, great view and a good place to star gaze. Lots of couples go there as it was really dark! You get what I mean?

I still have many refreshing ideas and enchanting places that I promised to bring Miko around. So many places, so little time. :)
