Confinement nanny suggested me to get 精风散 and feed her... I frowned and told her that I don't believe in such "antidote" from the Chinese medical hall. How can you feed a baby with this kind of stuff??
I am so going to put her in a baby cradle after she is 3 months old. As for now I bought a pillow filled with bean sprout husk and put it on her chest to keep her calm. True enough it did work and she now sleeps longer in her cot. *Mummy prays that the pillow works for a very long period of time*
After about 12 days being confined in my house, I was finally able to persuade Jeff to take me out. We sneaked out in the middle of the night when alls asleep and went to East Coast Mac Donald for some snack. Did the same thing for the following night, but we went to Wang Zhai Hong Kong Cafe at Siglap for supper. I giggled the moment the car drove out of the house, Jeff couldn't help but laugh at my expression.
Yesterday I officially went out shopping at baby hyperstore, baby kingdom and then to Parkway Parade. With the help of confinement nanny, we can really go out with a good piece of mind that Natalie is in safe hands. But another 17 more days confinement nanny will be leaving... Hope by then I can manage everything on my own.
Mama,
ReplyDeleteYou better don't carry your girl too often else next time she will always want to be carried around...
You know, child is very sensitive to 'dirty' or loud things, they get scared very easily. That time my hubby just AHhhChooooo than Raeann cry like don't know what liao...
My MIL also used 'Jin Feng San'.. But did not feed them, rub on their lips only. Or you can try rubbing some 'ruyi' oil on her tummy, back & below her feet... These are some methods to let babies sleep more soundly. :P
U can try playing soothing music. it works for me.
