Sunday is family day for most but on 9th April, it was track day at Johor Circuit. I am beginning to appreciate Jef's hobby intermittently. As long as he drives safely on normal road, he has all my support in racing in a authorised track. I was with him during his race in Sepang few months back, now he wanted to practise his skills in Pasir Gudang as it was a smaller circuit.

By the way, next time you go through the Malaysia customs, do remember to check if they stamp on your passport. That day after crossing the custom, (we took 2nd link) we drove up to the next R&R stop to get some food and petrol, I flipped open our passport and realised that the white card was still intact and no stamp was found. To my disgust, I later found out that both our passports was not stamped.... I vividly recalled reading a news article saying that 2 Singaporeans were jailed in Malaysia for not having their passport stamp.... &^&*(*&(*$^#$^&* majiam our fault....
We immediately informed the rest of the team that we had to return to the custom and explanations and delays was definitely inevitable. Jef really sped back, it was really frightening, the custom officer didn't understand English, took both of our passport away from us and told us to wait in the car. He came back mins later, without our passport, instructed us to park our car at the side and pointed to the police station. We got down from the car and walked briskly to the station and saw two officers holding on to our documents, damn... they didn't speak English... After some charade and chicken and duck talk.... the officers finally smiled and said we should be more careful next time and gave us the stamp..... STAMP!!!!!!!

The rest of the guys were already in the circuit and being first time there, we followed the signs faithfully to our destinations.

Ahhhhhh straight ahead.

Ahhhhh ok turn left here!

Ohhhhh finally, after some trauma we reached!

Entrance fee of RM 5 were collected from us, and the uncle even made a comment said that it was ladies day and ladies don't have to pay..... Eh... I thought they charged by per car?

Johor circuit looked quite run down to me... wonder how was the circuit....

Sigh, we should have visited Pasir Gudang first before Sepang, coz only then I will appreaciate the new circuit more.

Finally saw the group waiting for us.

Saw this really cool Suzuki swift, it had hot wheels!

My dear dear's mistress, miss blacky.

We had to go to the office to register for the race, RM120 for 3 hours on the circuit. I even had to sign an indemnity form and they will not hold any responsibility if I were to get killed there....

Got a passenger chop.... I cannot drive only ride....

This was the band for the driver.

A circuit map was given to the drivers as they had to study before going down.

Dear dear doing his gear calculations... which bend, what gear, what speed... so precise.

Looked at this bike, they had just completed their race, they looked extremely Hot! I mean literally as they had to suit up from top to bottom.

My helmet... I was complaining that I hate the color, I hate the design, hmph.... Jef bought a motorbike helmet for me.... :P

Look at Jef's Helmet... So pro!! Black beauty eh!
Video taken when I was in the car, only managed to capture first 2 rounds for the track... too shaky. There were many cars skidded and lost control during a down slope bend, heard from others that a Evo crashed quite badly and airbags were opened. Luckily the driver and passenger were sound, but that evo would have been a total lost. Driving on a track is not only about how fast your car can go, it really depends a lot on the driver's skills. Need practise and practise.

This is the organiser for the event, Jef's mechanic boys, DKC workshop. They were really great people, free package lunches, burgers, waters for everyone.

While resting, I took out chicken in a biskit to munch! It was a tiring day for both Jef and I, but it was really fun too. Aiyo skin so oily!
I will be looking forward for the next track day!
