Good Friday!

Happy Ester everyone! Though I am not a Christian nor Catholic, I really appreciate that this day is allocated as a public holiday.

I got a call from Nail Xpert in the morning and she reminded me that I signed up a nail package with them in 2004 and I still have 2 more visits with them. Wah... I had absolutely forgotten about the package at all, immediately fixed an appointment with them for my manicure and pedicure in the afternoon. Nail Xpert used to be located in Suntec City but last year they had moved to Purvis street. Dear dear followed me to the salon and waited for me while I did my nails.

It was located on the 2nd floor of the rolls of shop houses in Purvis street, when I stepped into the salon I was attracted by the decorations, the fabric they used for their curtains, cushion covers, seats etc. I appreciate and enjoyed to be surrounded by such tastfully done space. Oh I have to say the service provided by their staff was very professional too, only complain was they refused to add nail crystals for me which I brought to the salon. Nonetheless I had great nail colors for both my hands and feet, it's bling!

Korean Charcoal BBQ at 'Da Chang Jin'. I want to add more protein for my diet therefore suggested that we have bbq meat for dinner. We tried Japanese BBQ 2 weeks ago and this time we chose korean.

We ordered Sakae, it had ginseng in it and 15% alcohol!
The food we ordered, filled the whole table!

Jef the chef for me, cutting the meat into pieces and bbq them. The set back for Korean BBQ was that the meat was served in whole and had to cut them into cook able sizes using scissors. Jef's hands were numb after that... poor thing.

  3. hi Eileen, that night at the rest. we spent about $120 for 2. The dishes cost about $30 and above, we ordered alittle too much and we had sakae too, so it seems expensive for just 2 of us. There is another korean rest located at basement of far east plaza, its more affordable and tasty as well.
